“Artists: Do not ask what a work of art means. Ask what a work of art does to you. Art is not a thing or a noun. Art is a verb. Art is something that does something to you.” ~ Jerry Saltz
Drowning (Moon Lake Book Two) ia available now everywhere.
This fall I’m going to be working on a new writing project altogether, something you’ve never seen before. From anyone. It’s quite large, so I can’t say when it will be out. We’ll see what we see. I’ll try and keep you posted.
In the meantime, here’s Drowning to tide you over.

October 16, 2023 at 7:30 pmI loved Shelter Moon, and the second Drowning is just as captivating. Please don’t make me wait years for Book 3! Thanks you. Oh, and Shooter and his boys were fab, too!

December 28, 2023 at 12:06 pmI love audio books and thoroughly enjoyed the Burnout series. Please consider allowing the rest of your books to become audio books as well. I’m currently reading your Star Valley series. You have the awesome ability to create drama with just the right amount of humor complete with great characters. I’m really looking forward to whatever you write next.

January 14, 2024 at 9:39 pmWill there be a book three after Drowning? I didn’t see that coming that the mystery man turned out to be Jude. Can’t wait until you write the next one.
Also in my opinion Shooter would make a great movie. It is such an awesome story line. I have read that series multiple times until the characters seem like real people. Thanks for such great writing.

January 16, 2024 at 7:37 amI planned for three books in the series, but I don’t have a real storyline for the third one yet. I’m hoping to put out a new project in late 2024/early 2025, then I’ll revisit Moon Lake and see what I can come up with.
Thanks for reading!

March 13, 2024 at 3:37 pmI just discovered your books & though it was written years ago, PREACHER was one of the best romances of the gritty, biker type I’ve ever read! Any chance you’d consider writing another similar story? It was just so good.

March 15, 2024 at 9:19 amI only have one rule: If there’s a story, I write it. I have never thought up a story but just didn’t bother writing it. Unfortunately, I haven’t thought up any more stories for the Burnout Universe, but who knows what will happen in the future?
Right now I’m working on the biggest, most complex thing I’ve ever written. It’s a horror/supernatural romance series with MMA fighters, vampires, werewolves, and mercenary strippers (yes, mercenary strippers). It’s set in Baltimore and it doesn’t get more dark/gritty than that.
I tend to lean toward characters who play by their own rules and it will have A LOT of that. I think one character might even be the actual Devil. I don’t know. The characters just say things and then I have to go back through the manuscript and act like I knew that was going to happen when I did not, lol.
Because the stories are so complex and this style of writing is new to me, I have to write all 6 books of the first season (season because it’s structured like a TV show) before I publish any of them so that I can make sure that all the mysteries/plot lines/big reveals/plot twists all work the way they need to.
Book 1 is done. Book 2 is almost finished and the other 4 are also in various stages of completion. I really can’t say when they will come out, but I will keep y’all posted on my progress throughout the spring and summer.
But thanks for reading and I’m glad you liked Preacher. The pimp chicken is one of my favorite things I’ve ever written, lol.
Stay Tuned…..
